About the Role
Contribute to community development as a part-time Recreation Programmer with PRAIRIE HARVEST COMMUNITY CENTRE in Yorkton. Focus on creating programs for the shelter's clients and support their engagement.
This temporary position is set for 20 hours per week, with shifts primarily in the afternoons and evenings. As a programmer, you will oversee activities for homeless and recently housed individuals, requiring strong English communication skills for effective supervision and interaction. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and run engaging programming for clients
• Manage event scheduling in collaboration with the center
