In this role, the Wireless Cellular/Radio Engineer supports enterprise private cellular initiatives from initial design through production deployment. Day to day, they partner with business-facing teams, architects, and network groups to analyze requirements and develop scalable cellular and radio solutions across campuses, manufacturing facilities, data centers, and remote sites. They lead and execute projects including proofs of concept, upgrades, expansions, and full deployments, coordinating vendors, tracking execution, and serving as the primary technical escalation point for project and operational issues. The engineer conducts and oversees site surveys, develops coverage and capacity plans, supports testing and validation efforts, and travels onsite as needed.
