Waste Water Treatment Plant Technician (Engineer)

Overview

The WWTP Technician operates with minimal supervision and is responsible for maintaining a solid understanding of wastewater treatment plant processes. Reporting to the Plant Environmental Specialist, the technician collaborates with the Maintenance team and provides operational support to Plant Engineers and Journeypersons.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely and efficient preventive and predictive maintenance activities for production equipment, wastewater treatment plant systems, and related assets.
• Perform routine wastewater treatment plant operations, including monitoring and adjusting pH and solids, calibrating probes and sensors, and making process adjustments to ensure efficient WWTP performance.
• Receive bulk chemical deliveries, ship sludge, and wash and maintain WWTP equipment.
