This role focuses on identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining performance, quality, and design intent across automotive interior systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze interior components (trim, cockpit, seating, consoles, plastics, soft trims) to identify cost optimization opportunities
- Perform value engineering / value analysis (VA/VE) activities across design and manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to implement cost-effective solutions
