Skills Required
- Possess a Class 3 driving license; experience operating survey or utility detection vehicles is an advantage.
- Proven experience in underground utility detection, mapping, and surveying across varied site conditions.
- Proficiency in the use of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other utility detection equipment (e.g. cable locators, electromagnetic devices).
- Relevant certifications in GPR operation, underground utility surveying/mapping, or workplace safety are advantageous.
- Conduct underground utility surveys using GPR and other detection methods to accurately locate and map subsurface utilities.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate GPR and associated survey equipment to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
