TRS Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate API Connections and TDS Connections, including Trip, Torque Grapple, Hydraulic Actuator, Packer Cup, Stabbing Guide, and other equipment.
• Calibrate and test premium connections using computerized torque monitoring systems such as WinCatt.
• Generate graph samples and interpret the graphical representation of all premium connections (standard VAM, Low Interference FOX, Non-interference Hydril, Benoit).
• Monitor electronic torque gauges and hydraulic load cells with remote units.
• Ensure vigilance for any deviations from the original plans and report changes to Driller TP ASAP for mid‑course corrections on well‑control or stuck‑pipe situations.
• Manage time effectively to determine the most vital tasks and set priorities per operational requirements.
• Report any incidents or malfunctioning alarm systems to management for rectification.
