Summary You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (OA) in the DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT OFFICE (DMO) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will review applicant’s orders to determine their entitlement. You will ensure all proper documentation is in order before submitting to the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office - Southwest (JPPSO-SW) for route and awarding. You will advise the applicant of their responsibilities prior, during, and after the Transportation Service Provider’s (TSP) services their move. You will calculate possible excess cost for exceeding their weight allowance, shipping to/from alternate origin/destination locations. You will maintain daily records of shipments processed and electronically files into the Total Record Information Management System (TRIM).
