Transport Coordinator

The Transport Coordinator plans, schedules, and monitors the company’s fleet of trucks and heavy equipment to maximize utilization and keep projects on schedule. Stationed at the main warehouse, the role supervises drivers, equipment operators, and an in‑house repair crew, while outsourcing major repairs when required. Close daily coordination with the Site Monitoring Officer is essential to align equipment deployment with on‑site priorities and minimize downtime.

Core Responsibilities

Fleet Scheduling & Dispatch

• Develop daily and weekly deployment schedules based on project priorities and equipment availability.
• Adjust schedules in real time to accommodate urgent site requests or equipment failures.
• Maintain a central calendar/dashboard of fleet assignments and movement history.
