TRANSMISSION LINE COORDINATOR

FT/PT Position: 1 Full-time Contract Position

Summary: The Transmission Line Coordinator is responsible to coordinate activities with all proponents engaged in transmission line projects in the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation Territory.

Duties

• While working within the protocols of Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation, actively engage with elders, Chief and Council, staff, and community members to seek input and direction on Transmission Projects.
• Maintain strong working relationships with the various Transmission Proponents and project leads.
• Support the planning activities such as coordinating surveys, open houses, social media channels, and translation.
• Assist and manage meetings such as arranging for meeting space, meals, accommodations, set‑up/set‑down, door prizes, cultural protocols, inv...
