    • The role of Trainee Cable Jointer is to undertake appropriate education and experience to be able to:

  • Terminate, joint and repair 400 volt, 11,000 volt and 33,000 volt cables.
  • Undertake termination of new cables into switches, transformers, OCB's up to 33 kV, and undertake inline 11kV and 33kV through joints.
  • Install new equipment and services both overhead lines and underground cables.
