XTL Transport has been a trusted employer for mechanics and technicians and drivers for 40 years. We’re searching for an experienced trailer technician in our Airdrie location.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain all safety measures according to company policies and procedures
• Carefully listen to Driver's feedback
• Conduct inspections and diagnose issues
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions
• Replace parts and components as required
• Repair body damage
• Inspect, diagnose and repair trailer electrical systems, landing gear assemblies and suspension/brakes
• Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on the following: Coupling and hitching systems, tires, hubs, wheels and axles, heating and refrigeration systems
• Maintain current PM's CVIPs and schedule future maintenance sessions
