Position within Transportation Electrical team.

Job Description

Responsible for designing transportation electrical systems for traffic signals and roadway lighting, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and codes.

Daily Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs for transportation electrical systems using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Conduct detailed calculations such as voltage drop, illumination, conductor and conduit sizing, and grounding to ensure designs meet relevant engineering standards and applicable codes.
• Perform complete lighting analysis using AGi32.
• Design electrical layouts for cable raceways/underground conduits, lighting, panel schedules design, lighting poles and base details, luminaire schedule, electrical grounding.
