About the Role
Job Duties
- Trade a book of Crude Oil, Refined Products, and Options, deliver on budgeted revenues, and manage book risks across Asia-Pacific energy markets. Establish and maintain key internal and external relationships — including with Asia-Pacific refinery clients, trading houses, and regional counterparties— to deliver trades to the desk and develop the franchise across the region.
- Anticipate client demand in each respective product and market, with a particular focus on East-of-Suez crude flows, Asian refined product benchmarks (e.g., Singapore MOPS/Platts), and inter-regional arbitrage economics between the Americas and the Far East.
- Work in partnership with control functions including Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure in accordance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations and Citi's regional compliance framework.
