Toolmaker – Plastic Injection Moulding Port Elizabeth

Key Responsibilities: Manufacture, assemble, and fit plastic injection mould tools and components to precise engineering specifications Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing moulds Diagnose tooling issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize tool performance Conduct tool trials and ensure moulds meet quality and production standards Interpret technical drawings, CAD data, and specifications accurately Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards Maintain accurate records of tooling work, repairs, and modifications Requirements: Proven experience as a Toolmaker in plastic injection moulding (essential) Strong knowledge of mould construction, tool fitting, and machining processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience with manual machining (milling, turning, grinding, etc.) High attention to detail and probl...
