Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Job Purpose

The Mechanical Design Engineer – MEP is responsible for developing and reviewing mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems. The role involves preparing shop drawings, material submittals, and calculations, ensuring compliance with local and international standards. The engineer works closely with senior engineers, MEP managers, and site teams to provide design support and technical solutions.

Mechanical System Design & Compliance

• Develop designs for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems based on project requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, ADDC, DEWA, ADM, DCD, and ESTIDAMA standards.
• Assist in energy efficiency studies and ESCO project design support.
• Manage drafting teams assigned for each project.
