Job Description

AECOM South Africa is looking for a Technologist – Highways to support local and international projects. The role focuses on design, preparation and management of road designs and drawings using CAD and 3D modelling software. The position is based in Cape Town and operates in a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and management of geometric design models and drawings for roads and related structures.
• Preparation and management of road geometric designs and drawings, reports, bill of quantities.
• 3D design and modelling of roads and associated infrastructure.
• Apply the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all work.
• Knowledge of Geometric Design Codes, Drainage Design Codes and other relevant standards is a benefit.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain or defend work.
