Technician - Geotechnical Driller

Geotechnical Driller – Springfield, MO As a Geotechnical Driller, you will be responsible for the primary operation and maintenance of our drill rigs, with a strong preference for those experienced with CME or Geoprobe equipment. Your expertise will be vital in executing a variety of geotechnical methods, including hollow stem augers and split‐spoon sampling, as well as specialized techniques like mud rotary and rock coring when project needs arise. Responsibilities Lead daily drilling operations, including setup, tool selection, and sampling procedures. Perform soil, rock, and groundwater sampling in accordance with project specifications. Apply knowledge of geotechnical drilling, including soil sampling, rock coring, groundwater measurements, and planning geotechnical explorations. Maintain clean, organized drill rigs and related equipment. Troubleshoot malfunctions as needed. Accurately document drilling operations on field logs.
