Technician, Chemistry

Element has an opportunity for a Technician to perform testing, sample preparation, collection/delivery of samples, and preparation of test reports.

Location: Tuas Loop.

• Analyze water samples and field samples for physical and chemical parameters. Operate, maintain and calibrate equipment such as Ion Chromatography, TN and TC analyzers, Flow Injection.
• Ensure work compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
• Prepare reagents and standard solutions and ensure standardization of the solution used in the laboratory.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests and analysis as per standard methods.
• Interpret data and generate test reports for clients (data entry, quality assurance).
• Handle and store all chemicals as per the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
• Coordinate with other technicians in the team to carry out work according to the planning schedule.
