Technical Writer Requirements

  • Mid-Level to Senior-Level experience in Technical Writing – Exemplary writing skills
  • Expert level knowledge using MS Suite applications specifically Microsoft Word
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow from a Writing perspective
  • Experience working with Visio for creating written diagrams
  • Critical thinking, collaboration, knowledge of IT, knowledge of IT asset management
  • Ideally Financial Services industry experience or Banking

Technical Writer Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Technical Writer are to consolidate and harmonize procedural IT asset management (software/hardware documents). Therefore this Writer will be responsible for comparing existing procedural documents, noting differences, making recommendations to consolidate, gaining consensus, and creating a final consolidated/harmonized version.
