Job description
- Responsible for technical operations of the assigned oil tankers.
- Ensure that the vessels achieve the required technical standards and performance by carrying out repair maintenance and servicing of vessels to the instructions of the Technical Manager.
- Proceeding to ports as may be necessary, on the instruction of the Technical Manager, for the purpose of supervising repairs and restoration of the vessels and equipment.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor dry‑dockings and other required repairs and maintenance jobs. Responsible for a complete general inspection of the vessel.
- Ensure that the vessels’ certificates and documents are systematically updated and stored.
- Effective implementation and advise of the Company’s planned maintenance system to the relevant ship personnel.
