Technical Specialist – Hematology (Brampton, ON)
Summary
The Technical Specialist supports test design, evaluation, validation, and verification of hematology assays and processes, assists with implementation of new products, develops SOPs, and maintains quality assurance activities.
Responsibilities
- Support test design, evaluation, validation, and verification of hematology assays and processes.
- Assist in implementing new products and services into routine production, including SOP development and ongoing QA program activities.
- Act in a consultative manner with Operations Managers, providing well‑reasoned advice on methodologies while ensuring quality processes.
- Evaluate new methods, instrumentation, and workflows per the Hematology Scientific Director and prepare necessary documentation for QA and accreditation compliance.
- Submit MFM requests and support LIS interface UAT testing.
