Produce accurate cost estimates from technical drawings
Create labour/material costings and routing information
Liaise with suppliers and manage sub-contract requirements
Prepare and input full quotations for customers
Handle enquiries, provide technical support, and resolve queries
Work closely with internal teams to keep projects on track Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication or engineering
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and RFQs
Confident discussing technical requirements / solutions with customers both face to face and over the phone.
Experience in estimating, technical sales, or account management.
Previously achieved circa 1 million in direct sales per year.
Ideally experienced mentoring or managing a small team of estimators
