About the Role
What success looks like in this role:
The Tech Field Engineer performs activities associated with installing, diagnosing, maintaining and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Serves as Field Engineer for specific clients and/or for specific products and applications, including tech kiosks / desks.
• Provides software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, servers, network devices, AV rooms and other networked devices.
• Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers, peripherals and other networked devices.
• Supports network products from both operational and maintenance perspectives, including preventative maintenance activities.
• Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.
• Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications.
• Provides follow-up on problems or escalations.
