Systems Programmer – z/OS System Support (Mainframe Sysprog)

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Engineer / zOS Specialist to join a customer environment based in Brooklyn, Pretoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Mainframe infrastructure, including z hardware and z/OS software environments. The role requires strong technical expertise across Mainframe systems administration, third‑party product support, storage management, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.

This position works closely with multiple engineering teams to support the integrated Mainframe ecosystem and ensure stability, performance, and operational excellence across the environment.
