The Automatic Transmission/Driveline/Gear Reducer Application Engineer will be a part of the Chief Engineering (CE) organization to drive priority into the Propulsion System organization to meet timing and requirements on product launches and serial life production.
This includes managing QTWC (Quality Total Warranty Cost) priorities for the respective organizations. This role coordinates with Product Releasing and Development and Validation teams so that they can create plans to meet their targets to reduce three months in service (MIS) claims and twelve months in service (MIS) warranty cost.
In order to track vehicle applications and timing, this role will manage the development of the Applications Matrix including all interface requirements for given programs including all variants and various vehicle platforms.
