PE Global is recruiting a Digital Systems Engineer on behalf of a leading global engineering organisation based in Peterborough . This is an office‑based role , working 37 hours per week , Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on start and finish times. The position offers an hourly rate of £32.80 PAYE or £44.52 Umbrella and is available to start ASAP on an initial 12‑month contract , with rolling extensions highly likely .

• Develop high‑level system boundary diagrams for on‑board controllers, telematics, platform components, and applications.
• Lead Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and create validation plans in collaboration with subject‑matter experts.
