About the Role
System One is seeking a System Design Engineer to support advanced nuclear reactor development. This role will support the Sodium Processing Systems team, focusing on system design, vendor coordination, and integration of hardware into overall plant system architecture for a next-generation nuclear reactor program.
This position works closely with engineering teams and equipment suppliers to ensure system designs meet technical requirements, regulatory standards, and project schedules.
Responsibilities
+ Design nuclear and industrial systems from requirements development through final design.
+ Provide technical oversight to vendors developing mechanical systems and components.
+ Coordinate review of engineering analyses including thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, and heat transfer.
+ Integrate as-designed hardware into overall plant system design.
