Supply Chain Component Reviewer

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Component Analyst (CA) will be assigned to a pre-selected customer base within, under the management of a Team Leader. The ideal candidate must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment and possess excellent data manipulation skills, in particular, but not limited to Excel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review a request for quote to determine the best way of processing the Bill of Material (BOM) and understand the instructions given.
• Examine the Raw Bill of Material to ensure that pertinent information and data is included.
• Identify potential problems that may occur in the upload/download of the data and suggest solutions.
• Follow the prescribed procedures for uploading a quote to ensure that all correct lines are uploaded.
• Cleansing and building the part number based on the part description.
