Position: Supervisor – Mechanical
Type: Full-time permanent
Location: Northern Ontario
Salary Range: $90–$105K/year + Benefits
Relocation: Will be paid
Job Overview This is a frontline operations leadership role in a paper mill (newsprint production). You are essentially the person in charge of the plant during your shift, especially on nights and weekends.
You are not just supervising you are:
Running production
Managing people
Handling emergencies
Acting as the on‑site authority when senior management is not there
Qualifications
College diploma or equivalent; Mechanical Engineering an asset
3‑5 years supervisory experience in a related field
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Reliable and strong work ethic
