The Production Specialist II is a second‑line supervisor responsible for assigning and coordinating work in a manufacturing department.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:

• Supervising hourly employees and maintaining a log of shift operations.
• Preparing daily timesheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime, and downtime reports.
• Planning work assignments to achieve maximum utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
• Working with engineering personnel on new or revised methods, layouts, processes, and equipment to increase operating efficiency, reduce costs, or improve quality.
• Coordinating with material control personnel concerning production schedules, parts, and status of the schedule.
