About the Role
This secondary setting provides a structured, nurturing environment for young people who need additional support to succeed in school. The focus is on inclusion, emotional wellbeing, and helping students rebuild confidence in learning.
Students are taught in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. Many have SEN or SEMH needs and benefit from consistent adult support, clear boundaries, and strong relationships. The school places real value on understanding behaviour, not just managing it, and staff work together to create a calm, purposeful atmosphere.
The role
As a Support Worker, you’ll work closely with students throughout the school day, either one to one or in small groups. Your role will centre on helping them access learning, regulate emotions, and engage positively with school life.
