About the Role
The Student Extern at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center supports Application Services teams while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment. The Student Extern contributes to troubleshooting, systems maintenance, and technology support, helping ensure reliable application performance. The Student Extern role offers exposure to real-world technical operations and collaboration across multiple teams within EDI.
The *ideal candidate* is a currently enrolled student who is technically curious and eager to learn, with an interest in application support and IT operations. This individual demonstrates foundational problem-solving abilities, strong learning agility, and a willingness to develop technical and professional skills in a real-world environment. Exposure to systems, troubleshooting, or IT-related coursework is beneficial.
