Structural Steel Specialist / Structural Steel Analyst

Optim-Structure inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Structural Steel Specialist / Structural Steel Analyst to join our team in Montreal. Candidates must be located in Canada.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the analysis and design of steel structures, including storage structures and racking systems. The role includes preparing engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, technical reports, site inspections, and project follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the analysis and design of storage structures.
• Use modeling software for the analysis and design of steel structures.
• Carry out finite element analyses (FEA) and ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes.
• Collaborate with the project team to propose engineering solutions and resolve technical challenges.
• Conduct site inspections to assess structural integrity and ensure compliance with specifications.
