About the Role
A reputable Engineering Consulting Firm is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team, based in Johannesburg.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing reports, designs and drawings
- Administration of construction contracts
- Making calculations about loads and stresses
- Conceptual and detailed design of steel & reinforced concrete structures
- Selecting appropriate construction materials
- Providing technical advice
- Obtaining planning and or building regulations approval
- Liaising with relevant professional staff such as architects
Key requirements:
- BSc Civil Engineering
- Registered as a professional engineer (Pr Eng)
- Proficient with PROKON
- Rebar detailing experience
- Steel design experience
- Concrete design experience
- Salary: negotiable.
