About the Role
Aker Solutions is seeking a Structural Designer to join our Engineering team in St. John's, NL. Contribute to sustainable solutions through structural design and analysis while working collaboratively with a dynamic onshore team.
In this role, you will bring your expertise to complete structural designs and analyses in compliance with specifications and codes. You’ll utilize 3D modeling software and prepare documentation necessary for construction. Your understanding of structural steel design and experience in weight calculations will support modifications in projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete conceptual and detailed structural design work
• Utilize 3D modeling software throughout engineering stages
• Prepare documentation packages for construction
• Analyze proposed changes for fit and recommend solutions
