About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a production schedule for rehearsals and performances.
- Attend all rehearsals and performances and oversee all technical aspects of the show.
- Communicate with cast and crew members regarding schedule changes and updates.
- Manage backstage activities, including set and prop changes, cueing sound and lighting cues, and managing stage crew members.
- Ensure that all props, sets, and costumes are in their proper place before each performance.
- Work with the director and other production staff to ensure that the show runs smoothly and according to plan.
- Conduct run-throughs and technical rehearsals to ensure that all aspects of the show are in place.
- Train and manage stage crew members, ensuring that they are performing their duties correctly and efficiently.
