About the Role

Role Overview

As a Staff Front-End Engineer, you will design and build AI‑driven chat experiences that power Agoda’s AI Assistant, trip planning and discovery, customer support flows, and proactive recommendations.

You’ll work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define, build, and scale the next generation of AI solutions that make travel planning more intuitive, personalized, and effortless for millions of customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead architecture and system design of Agoda’s next‑gen front end systems
  • Drive best‑in‑class performance, accessibility, and usability
  • Mentor and subject‑matter expert for the FE engineering team
  • Influence stakeholders in the Product and Business teams
  • Set technical standards and ensure scalability

Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience building and leading rich web applications at scale
