Staff Platform Engineer, EU

Responsibilities

• Optimize our homegrown dynamic recruiting DSL‑to‑SQL compiler and build developer tools
• Create automated guardrails for the security and privacy of customer data
• Help our developers ship features fast through canary deploys, gradual rollouts, and feature flags while keeping complexity manageable
• Define SLOs with the business and engineering team and implement the corresponding SLIs
• Ensure all communication with external services supports retries and circuit‑breakers
• Build and maintain infrastructure that supports an event‑driven architecture and data warehouse

• Obsessive problem solver who enjoys deep dives and uncovering hidden issues through data and monitoring
• Advocate for future users and edge cases; do not take shortcuts in code or design
• Strong communication skills with a focus on written documentation and collaborative code reviews
