Staff Engineer, Mechanical Design (18-month contract)

**What you will do:**

+ Design and implement automation solutions for new automated production equipment, including customized fixtures and tooling.
+ Develop equipment specifications and deploy automated equipment aligned to the site’s automation roadmap (mechanization, data automation, and digital shop-floor tools).
+ Monitor existing automated processes and implement improvements to increase capacity, reduce scrap/reject rates, and enhance line safety using data-driven methods.
+ Execute equipment and process validations and document results through technical protocols and formal reports.
+ Perform failure analyses on automated production equipment (e.g., fault tree analysis, failure mode and effects analysis) and drive corrective actions to restore and improve performance.
