About the Role
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the company in meeting its production goals by supervising all activities of assigned employees in the plywood manufacturing process; ensures a safe and efficient work environment by communicating and managing Company established quality, production, safety and human resource policies.
SHIFT: Must be willing to work any available shift, day, swing, graveyard or rotate.
MAJOR TASKS:
+ Supervises the plywood spreader process while managing staff, equipment and materials to achieve the highest safety, quality and production levels.
+ Maintains quality control standards to maximize company profitability and achieve customer satisfaction.
+ Conducts individual meetings and leads crew meetings to communicate pertinent information to employees.
+ Completes administrative paperwork and reporting related to production reports, scheduling, personnel actions, payroll and safety.
