Specialist, Engineering Design and System Administration

Job Description

The Specialist, Engineering Design and System Administration performs duties related to the ongoing development and support of engineering systems and design. The role is responsible for the planning, development, modification, implementation, maintenance and releases of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Product Data Management (PDM) systems as well as related hardware, software, data and content. The specialist participates or leads in the planning, development, implementation, configuration and maintenance of specifications and standards for engineering drawings, specifications, processes and software; manages related technical documentation, changes, configuration control and document control of data. Providing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) expertise as a subject matter expert (SME), the specialist demonstrates best practice usage and ongoing support to the user community.
