Special Process Operator

Position Summary

Cleans by hand, solvent bath, or other processes, sub‑assemblies, parts and manufactured items. Has knowledge of cleaning agents used, and strips paint and other contaminants from above. Required to use blasting equipment for surface preparation. Carries out electro plating / conversion processes, and chemical processes.

Position Requirements

• Knowledge and/or work experience in the areas of poke welding braze shims; braze alloy materials and application; induction brazing; manual hand cleaning of parts; chemical conversion coating of aluminum and titanium.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of WHMIS.
• Ability to work within specified safety requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
