About the Role

Role Overview

The Software Configuration Coordinator is accountable for planning, coordinating, and governing software changes and releases across the enterprise landscape. This role ensures changes are promoted in a controlled, compliant, and risk‑aware manner by partnering with development, Basis, enhancement, testing, and release teams. The position is highly process‑driven and requires experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM, Enhanced Retrofits, Focused Build, Solution Documentation) and SAP Transport Management System (STMS). The role is critical to maintaining system stability and enabling timely, high‑quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and govern software releases and transport movements across the SAP landscape
  • Manage and oversee end‑to‑end Change Request Management (ChaRM) activities
  • Review, analyze, and remediate transport conflicts and retrofit issues prior to production promotions
