Position Overview

Softgoods Associate (Temporary) – Contract ending 2026‑11‑01. Join Giant Tiger’s store team to deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions in the electronic cash register, mainline, and self‑checkout options.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot‑selling items, complete markdowns, and update SKU changes when needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance with all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keep the checkout work area clean and organized.
• Apply loss‑prevention best practices.
