Position Overview
The Fire & Safety Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving safety systems and fire protection measures across the site. The role ensures compliance with applicable statutory requirements, company safety standards, and best industry practices. The position involves safety audits, risk assessments, training, emergency preparedness, and incident management to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management & Compliance
Conduct internal safety audits as per approved schedules and ensure timely closure of observations.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company safety requirements, including applicable Factory Rules and Fire Safety regulations.
Carry out risk assessments and hazard identification activities such as PHA, HAZOP, PSSR, HIRA, JSA, FTE, FMEA, HAZ, and QRA as applicable.
