Shipping Coordinator
**Department:** Operations - Warehouse
**Location:** Houston, TX
**About the role:**
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping products to customers and internal transfers. Will plan, schedule, execute shipping activities and ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of products.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Processes small part & LTL shipments, processing in timely and accurate manner
+ Understand the logistics process and procedure
+ Monitors age and status of open freight shipments and follow-up on issues as needed
+ Files and processes paperwork in accordance with the established procedures
+ Schedules trucks through systems such as SAP and TMS
+ Keeps accurate records on outgoing shipments
+ Works closely with other departments to ensure timely shipments of all products and accurate tracking in operation system
