Key Responsibilities 1. Shift supervision and team leadership • Supervise and coordinate the activities of STP operators, technicians, and helpers on the assigned shift, ensuring smooth handover and clear communication via shift logs. • Assign duties, monitor work performance, and take immediate corrective action if any safety or operational standard is not followed. 2. STP process control and monitoring • Monitor key STP processes including influent flow, primary treatment, biological treatment (e.g., MBBR/SBR/UASB), sludge handling, and final effluent discharge to ensure compliance with PCB/CPCB-type norms. • Record critical parameters (flow, pH, DO, BOD/COD indicators, sludge levels, etc.) in the shift log and escalate deviations to the Plant Supervisor. 3.
