J-AAR is a premier construction leader in Canada looking for a Sewer and Watermain Foreman to lead crews on civil infrastructure projects. The position reports to the Site Superintendent.

Wage: Per the applicable union agreement.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to crews to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, regulations, and safety codes.
• Ensure crew complies with all Health and Safety policies and regulations.
• Facilitate mandatory toolbox talks.
• Ensure completion of daily job hazard assessments.
• Ensure completion of any safety/incident investigations.
• Verify the quantity of necessary personal protective equipment and the replacement of any equipment that is damaged.
• Take ownership of team development by delivering ongoing training, modeling J‑AAR’s Values, and fostering a shared commitment to living them in daily work.
