Instrumentation and Control Technician
Mining Site (Surface and Underground)
Schedule: 4–3 and 7–7
Location: Val-d'Or, Quebec, CA, J9P 0L7
The Instrumentation and Control Technician is responsible for the programming and calibration of electrical and electronic instruments. The technician ensures that all required documentation is accessible and up to date in order to prevent construction and repair errors. They are also responsible for understanding wiring diagrams and selecting appropriate equipment layouts within PLC panels.
Main Responsibilities
- Program and commission various equipment and systems.
- Perform start-up of equipment and systems at the client’s site.
- Comply with safety standards during the construction, repair, and maintenance of products across different sites.
