About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Officer to play a leading role in the day-to-day management of health and safety on large-scale data center construction projects. The Senior Safety Officer will work on site and report to the HSE Lead, acting as a key support to site management and as a mentor to Junior Safety Officers.
This role is suited to a hands-on safety professional with strong construction experience who can drive high safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture across complex, fast-paced worksites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily health and safety activities on site
Support the HSE Lead in implementing the project H&S strategy
Supervise and mentor Junior Safety Officers
Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and behavioral safety observations
Ensure compliance with local legislation, client requirements, and company standards
